Chiropractic Techniques

Within chiropractic there are literally hundreds of techniques, and each individual chiropractor might practice those techniques slightly differently. Most chiropractors practice one technique, or maybe a few convenient techniques. At Chiropractic Health Center of Pullman, Dr. McDonald prides himself on practicing a wide variety of the best techniques available, and is constantly learning and expanding his approach developed over the last 16 years.
He is not only a Board Certified Atlas Orthogonal chiropractor, but he is also certified in Activator, has taken the full series of BGI courses, and has studied and practices Diversified, Gonstead, ART (Active Release Technique), and many more specialized methods. This extensive training allows Dr. McDonald to select the most appropriate technique for each patient’s specific condition and needs, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
Dr. McDonald also has some of the best equipment chiropractic has to offer, including state-of-the-art upper cervical equipment for precise Atlas Orthogonal adjustments, a flexion-distraction table which can be very helpful for lower back and mid back pain issues, a Percussor from Vibracussor for soft tissue work, and a drop-table for comfortable, effective adjustments. This combination of advanced techniques and modern equipment ensures that every patient receives the most appropriate and effective treatment possible.
His goal is to get the best results for every patient possible, doing so safely and efficiently. Whether you need the gentle precision of Atlas Orthogonal for complex neurological conditions, the targeted approach of Activator for specific joint dysfunction, or the comprehensive assessment methods of Gonstead technique, Dr. McDonald has the training and experience to determine which approach will work best for your unique situation.
This diverse skill set makes Dr. McDonald uniquely qualified to treat a wide range of conditions, from simple mechanical problems to complex cases that may not have responded to other approaches. Patients benefit from having access to multiple treatment options under one roof, ensuring they receive personalized care tailored to their specific needs and healing response.
